DéniaDénia with an area of 66 km² and 46,000 inhabitants is located at the northern foot of the Montgó mountain and has a more urban character. Thanks to its shopping mile and miles of sandy beaches, this place is also a very popular tourist destination.
Nevertheless, you will not find "dormitory-style homes" like Calpe, Benidorm or many other bigger cities of the Costa Blanca in Denia.
Dénia is connected to the two airports Alicante (approx. 100 km away) and Valencia (approx. 90 km away) by the AP 7 motorway. From Denia you can reach the Balearic Islands Ibiza and Mallorca by ferry. The railway line L9 connects Dénia with Alicante.
