MorairaMoraira is located directly on the sea on the Costa Blanca and as part of the municipality of Teulada, it belongs to the county of Marina Alta. The popular holiday resort is located about 80 km north of Alicante and about 100 km south of Valencia and stretches over a length of 8 km with numerous bays and beaches and built-up hills along the coast. Moraira and Teulada have a total of about 12.000 € inhabitants.
The village has managed to maintain its original character despite tourism. Embedded between the mountains and the sea, there is a climate with an annual average temperature of 21 degrees Celsius. A good 300 sunny days and the hills that protect the cool north shape the climate.
The original fishing town of Moraira offers unspoilt natural beaches. Rocky bays and sandy beaches alternate. The watchtower of the Cap d'Or and the castle on the beach are considered as landmarks of the village.
