Benitachell is a small coastal town between Javea and Moraira in the north of the Costa Blanca. All year round it scores with a very relaxed atmosphere, various restaurants and the crystal clear sea. This area is surrounded by the Comunidad Valenciano, closer to the province of Alicante and finally it belongs to the region of Marina Alta. The city of Denia and the towns of Calpe and Altea are also nearby.

The unique feature of this area is its diverse nature, because besides the long rocky and sandy beaches, the surrounding nature also scores: Cabo de la Nao, Cap Negre, Cabo de San Antonio and Cap Martí are four promontories, each interesting in a different way.
The "Montgó" mountain, which protects Jávea and at the same time offers a road to Denia, is considered to be the highest peak in the region with an altitude of more than 750 metres. Many visitors and locals also refer to the mountain as the sleeping elephant.
Opposite the Montgo is the Cumbre Del Sol mountain, which is particularly attractive for holidaymakers and owners of their own holiday property due to its breathtaking views and its very own infrastructure.

Alicante Airport (ALC) is about 90km and Valencia Airport (VLC) about 115km away. Due to the good motorway connection, the airports can be reached by car in approx. 1 - 1.5 hours (depending on the traffic situation).
