Jávea (Xábia in Valenciano) itself is a small coastal town in the north of the Costa Blanca. All year round Jávea scores with a very relaxed atmosphere, diverse restaurants and the crystal clear sea. Jávea is surrounded by the Comunidad Valenciano, closer to the province of Alicante and finally it belongs to the region of Marina Alta. Furthermore, the major city of Denia and the towns of Moraira and Altea are in the vicinity.

The unique thing about Jávea is its multifaceted nature, because besides the long rocky and sandy beaches, the surrounding nature also scores: Cabo de la Nao, Cap Negre, Cabo de San Antonio as well as Cap Martí are four promontories, each interesting in a different way.
The mountain "Montgó" which protects Jávea and at the same time provides a connecting road to Denia, is considered the highest peak of the region with a height of more than 750 meters. Many visitors and also locals refer to the mountain as the sleeping elephant.

The airport of Alicante (ALC) is about 90 km away and the airport of Valencia (VLC) about 115 km. Due to the good freeway connections, the airports can be reached by car in about 1 - 1.5 hours (depending on the traffic situation). There are also regular ferries from the neighborhood Denia to the surrounding islands such as Ibiza and Mallorca.
