Jávea itself is a small coastal town in the north of the Costa Blanca. All year round, Jávea offers a very relaxed atmosphere, a variety of restaurants, and crystal-clear waters. Jávea is part of the Valencian Community, specifically the province of Alicante, and belongs to the Marina Alta region. The city of Denia, as well as the towns of Moraira and Altea, are also located in the immediate vicinity.

What makes Jávea unique is its diverse natural landscape; in addition to its long rocky and sandy beaches, the surrounding nature is also a highlight: Cabo de la Nao, Cap Negre, Cabo de San Antonio, and Cap Martí are four headlands, each interesting in its own way.
