Jávea (Xábia in Catalán) is a small coastal town in the north of the Costa Blanca. All year round Jávea scores with a very relaxed atmosphere, various restaurants and the crystal clear sea. Jávea is surrounded by the Comunidad Valenciano, closer to the province of Alicante and finally it belongs to the Marina Alta region. Furthermore the big city Denia as well as the cities of Moraira and Altea are in the near vicinity.

The unique thing about Jávea is its varied nature, because besides the long rocky and sandy beaches, the surrounding nature also scores: Cabo de la Nao, Cap Negre, Cabo de San Antonio and Cap Martí are four promontories, each of them interesting in a different way.
The mountain "Montgó", which protects Jávea and at the same time offers a connection road to Denia, is with a height of more than 750 m the highest peak of the region. Many visitors and also locals refer to the mountain as the sleeping elephant.

The airport of Alicante (ALC) is about 90 km away and the airport of Valencia (VLC) about 115 km. Due to the good motorway connections, the airports can be reached by car in about 1 - 1.5 hours (depending on the traffic situation). The well-known islands Ibiza and Mallorca are about 50 nautical miles away from the port of Jávea. Ferries from the neighbourhood Denia go regularly to the surrounding islands.
