The original charm has been preserved. Moraira has a small harbour, a sandy beach and small, pleasant bays. Moraira belongs to the municipality of Teulada, which is 4 km inland. The extensive valleys with their traditional fincas (farmhouses) are close to Teulada and stretch all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.

The airport of Alicante (ALC) is about 90 km away and the airport of Valencia (VLC) about 120 km. Due to the good motorway connections, the airports can be reached by car in approx. 1 - 1.5 hours (depending on the traffic situation).
